Backup and Restore

Backup (and Restore!) in DataCenter environments are still more hassle than strictly necessary. I haven't come across a DC where Backup/Restore ran so smoothly that it didn't require lots of attention.

Several Open Source backup solutions exist:

• Amanda
• Bacula

Neither of these supports NDMP unfortunately.
